Looks 62, perhaps 63.

Try some pure acetone to get rid of the ugly yellow stuff on the obverse. With that color, it might actually disappear.

The booger came away after an acetone soak. Stay tuned for new photos in a few days...

Is a acetone soak considered cleaning.

Technically, it is cleaning, but, if done properly, it does not change the coin in a negative way. I guess it would be "market acceptable" cleaning. No physical scrubbing is done. Shouldn't cause a fundamental change in the condition of the coin - just removes organic contamination such as the orange booger that was on this coin.

AU-58. Might get the MS-60 grade if you're lucky.

To me, if this coins makes MS, it will easily make 63.

I agree with Coinfrog, it could go 63, reverse is nicer than obverse, but that's the way those dollars usually go imo.

It looks so much better after the acetone bath.

I will certainly up the grade to at least AU58 or higher to MS.
