Please crop your photo so the background is removed leaving only the coin in the photo.

Even though your question pertains to the obverse it is always best to provide photos of both the obverse and reverse.

On occasion the reverse might help someone determine the die markers to confirm an opinion.

Your photo is very good,just need to crop it. Can't tell if it is a DDO or not. 1972 is known for a master die doubling so most if not all will have that. If it is a DDO with a premium will need better,closer pics. Meantime check coppercoins .com and Wexlers site doubleddie.com for a match.

KembotMo, good images. Last image is better than I can do. I see a bit die polishing all over the obverse, but that's it. My eyes are old so hopefully better eyes will follow. Thanks, Doug.
