to CCF.

As noted, your best bet is to upload the image here. Error notes can be quite valuable.

FWIW, the sides of paper money are not referred to as "obverse" and "reverse" as coins are. We get your meaning but the preferred terms are "face" and "back".

Your photos came through fine this time, mchera. It's a partial offset ink transfer, pretty common, ballpark worth, $15 IMO. IF the bill is pre-1977 or a star note, then more.

Really like your Partial Offset error. Very obvious error, you could say an "in-your-face error".

I read somewhere that F2B errors were scarce compared to B2F errors. The OP's note is well inked and covers just about 50% of the design. I'd go out on a limb and guess you may realize a nice premium if you decide to sell.

From my recent investigations into offset errors (I was checking because I wanted to buy one), I found many more face-to-backs than the other way round. In either case, premiums were pretty low, unless 1) the bill was high grade, 2) the offset was full and bold, 3) the bill was high denomination, star note, old, an SC, or special in some other way.

Low grade moderns are pretty common (in the world of errors, that is). I just picked this up on ebay for $55:

For sure, they're great to look at. I'd love to find one in the wild!
