Well folks, I did it. I purchased ANOTHER 1909-s vdb. I had sent the other back and got a full refund no problem(including shipping even). The one I purchased was a lower grade(ANACS VF-25) problem free in their brand new holder. I received it today, and it appears to be a clear winner. Strong details for the grade, even color, and NO MEAN GREENIES!! :-D
I will try to get some good pictures when I can. I will study it some more, and take it to a dealer for a second opinion, but I'm pretty sure it is a keeper, especially for the price I paid.

Thanks. I felt a deep void once I sent my original 09-s vdb back for a refund.....as if I committed some large numismatic heresy...lol. That was by far, the toughest "coin decision" of my life. Purchasing another was the only way to redeem myself.

I voted for the 1909-svdb and not the princes because since the low of gold and the high of gold is only about a twenty or thirty dollar difference and the value of gold does not go up so it might hold the nuministic value down. But as the years go on the svdb gets older and more valuable.

YESSSSSSSS!! Ok, well I picked up a 30X loupe from ebay for $7, and I have to tell you guys, this thing is AWESOME!! Great for examining every detail of a coin! What's even better is that it GREATLY AIDS MY CAMERA in taking pictures, as I just found out tonight! My camera is capturing details that it just wouldn't do on its own, even on macro mode(spent hours and hours trying to photo coins, with nothing better than just a blur). ANYWAYS, I finally got some halfway decent photos of my s-vdb! It is graded by ANACS as a problem free VF-25. It has a slight amount of woodgrain effect on it, as you can see in the photos. I still need a lot of work on my photos, but this is way better than anything else so far. So, sorry for the long wait, but here we are!!

This one shows the head details a bit better. This reverse is better too.

Thanks guys! Yeah, this thing saved me, as I was seriously going to purchase another camera just for coins. It's a bit cumbersome, as I have to hold the loupe right at the lense when I take the shot, but it sure works. The only problem is that the magnification is so strong, that you can really only take pictures of cents nickels and dimes and sort of quarters. Anything larger are too big to get in one shot, though it's not too bad. Here is an ebay link to the loupe: http://cgi.ebay.com/Magnifying-Glas...ls_W0QQitemZ180266117986QQihZ008QQcategoryZ67727QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1742.m153.l1262 I've read that anything over 20x is too much for coins, but I find that this works really really well! Especially for looking at mintmarks and such. Just IMHO.

Along with the King, I would like to present to you the nobility and the high royal guards. Feel free to grade. The 1931-s is a stunning coin in hand with the toning. Not sure if it is AU or BU. The 1909-s is a woody, unfortunately it has been cleaned. I'd guess XF-AU. The 1914-d has a few hits, but is still nice looking. People on cointalk graded it VF-20 at one point, but I think it is more of a Fine. The obverse is limiting.

Lol 1sikevo. I did have pics of these before that I took with my fiance's sisters camera....but I wanted to update with better pics. Also I'm just so darn excited that I got my camera figured out. :-)
We'll do jbuck. I may want to upgrade my 14-d eventually, as I'm working on turning my entire lincoln set into VF or better. Though the 14-d is nice, the obverse just doesn't make the cut IMO.
