Thank you all! This is so much fun. I will get it off to ANACS as soon as possible. Why ANACS and how much are the grading fee's?

Why? Anacs is the absolute best when it comes to attribution. The others do very little in this area. Anacs also has "no" membership requirements. This is a huge advantage for someone who is not submitting coins on a regular basis.

Pick your service here: http://www.anacs.com/services.html

I would suggest the 5 day, and don't forget to add the $1 for the attribution service.

Make sure that you get delivery confirmation and insure the coin. All said and done, you will have about $30 tied up in the coin and about 8 to 10 days. Weekends do not count towards the 5 day submission, and mailing to and from also do not count.

Once again, let me add Great Find.

Thanks everyone! I have a couple more questions for you. Should I keep it in the cardboard 2x2 flip when I send it to them or should I place it in something different? Is it OK to use compressed air to blow the dust off or is there something else I should use?

The 2x2 is fine. Just leave it the way it is. Don't worry about the dust. They will take care of that.

Actually, ANACS prefers that coins are submitted in a polybag inserted into a 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 flip (no tape or staples).

Congratulations on your find!

Thanks ND! You have been so very helpful. I will let you all know when I get it back. I probably will not get to send it off for a couple of weeks. I may send them a couple of my Morgans for grading as well.

Hello Mom! How have you been? I have not spoken to you in a while. The Air Force keeps me buisy so I have not been here in a while. Thanks for the input!

Hello, that is really cool! Looks like some folks have really sent you some good pics. The Whitman RedBook 2006 has a picture as well. Let me know if you would like me to scan a copy.

Jack, I tried to attach with negative results. If you e-mail me, I'll be glad to send it to you.

Sorry, just joined the this site yesterday and still learning the "ends and outs".

Hasta,

Pictures and scans can be uploaded to a post as long as the size is less than 100k and have extensions of .jpg or .gif. You will find a camera icon at the bottom of the post box with the text Insert an image. Click on the camera and then click on Browse to find it on your computer. Once the filename is in the box, click Upload to xxx post.

There's a chance yours could be OMM#2, but I cannot tell from the images posted.

OMM#2. If your coin matches, that's what you probably have.
