Possible die clash Aka arrowhead
Flat clinch staplers are available at Staples. That should be easy to remember. About twelve bucks. An absolute must if you are using 2x2s.

Certainly is known about and recognized. Small die Clash resembling a Dot . As DBM alluded to , similar to the so called Arrowhead die clashes of some of the Silver Dollars Of 1960 To 1963. No real significant premium for this minor variation.

A while back in a post, AgCoinAu mentioned a stapler he bought at Staples that worked well, Swingline Optima 40. I bought the same one and it works very well.

How much did grandpa over pay? We always use to bug him about buying land in Texas and then selling it for 40% less LOL

Quote: I can't find any info on this coin, I can't even really find a "dot". Any ideas? Your pic seems to show a dot right where the 2X2 says it is.

Hahahah I knew that was coming Earle. It doesn't look like a "dot" to me, not sure what it looks like but not a dot. I searched and searched and couldn't find another coin like it, grandpa liked his "hutterite" wine...the good stuff, so I figured maybe it was a wine and coin night? :)

Stumbled on this thread trying to figure out the same thing. Have a few of these coins labeled as 66' and the "DOT" designation. From what I can tell, there is a small bump on the back of the Indians neck. It does not sound like these coins demand any sort of premium but for some reason someone at some time was labeling them as if they were unique.
