I was gonna say @Crazybo that I thought I just saw one just like that pretty recently. Where did you buy it if you don't mind me asking Broutha?

You've been had. It's all damage. It's worth face value. Hope you didn't pay to much

But hang out here and learn what to look for as real mint errors. If you can't get your money back on your coin, keep it as a lesson. It will remind you next time to know what you are buying better before you buy nest time.

Don't feel bad about this. I doubt there's a collector that hasn't made some sort of misstep at some point. I, for one, overpaid for the first couple of coins I bought and then went on to repeat the mistake a few more times. I just didn't know to do my homework before buying.

$2.50 s cheap tuition.
I've been trying to learn about error coins for a few years now -- still get it wrong from time to time.

Unlike what a couple of people on here have said, this coin has not been heat damaged, it's merely been beaten.
