that it's probably a 2005 with extensive zinc rot and some very lucky hits.
Still could be a nice conversation piece, assuming you can keep it from rotting too much further (which, sadly, is probably impossible).

Yes the copper plating now has lots of holes and the underlying zinc is deteriorating. Good to spend!

Looks like metal in the second 0 of a 2005 cent was perfectly displaced by a hit to create a 9. What are the odds!

That damage is due to the fact it came from a worm hole from the future and it came down really fast and hit the earth like a bullet. Just so you know ;)
