Never heard of this policy. Could you provide a link to this policy?

IF that were actually true the big boys wouldn't be allowed to do it and there wouldn't be an option to have listings with multiple available.

MoneyPenny-
it is under " ebay guidelines for coins and paper money"

Quote:
Include a clear picture of item being sold- Don't use stock photos.
This includes NCLT and gold bars.

Listings to include photos of both front and back of coin being sold.

Managed accounts get away with it, no one else if they're reported. This guy is likely a managed account.

https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/...licy?id=4337

The listing includes photos of the front and back of the coin being sold, and you are authorized to use the photos. Stock photos and images that are dark, out of focus, edited, or misleading aren't allowed

Include a clear picture of the actual item being sold - don't use stock photos

If the no stock pictures rule is strictly enforce there would be no NCLT coin listings. Almost 100% of NCLT coin listings have some stock pictures. In addition to their own pictures, almost all listings have a few stock pictures.

I suppose ebay will not enforce the rule if you at least include some pictures of the actual coin.

Looked closely at the ebay guidelines for coins and paper. The no stock picture rule only applies to RAW coins. No mention of NCLT.

Here is a screen grab of the rules:

Sorry MoneyPenney but I've looked closely at them a thousand times and you're wrong. I live them every day. We get hundreds, sometimes thousands, of listings removed every single day, I know what I'm talking about.

The second thing under General guidelines which covers everything...

MoneyPenny-
I can speak from experience that NCLT coins are being removed for showing
stock photos or only one side.
I have reported many along with other listings for this same violation.

There are also other listing on a daily basis that are being removed for showing stock photos
or only showing one side.

Unless they are a managed account like this guy likely is. They usually let them slide.

nice how some sellers get extra privileges and can "bend" the rules for them

It's like just about any other big business on the planet. The biggest customers get perks. Not surprised one bit. Not even really mad about it any more because I would do the same thing probably.

If you're honestly reporting sellers for listing more than one available and having listings removed I really don't know what to say...........

Depends what is is. If it's MS69 PCGS silver eagles, no, I won't bother. If it's 1934 Mercury dimes you bet I will.
