I already have a Daniel Carr 1915 Mercury dime. I'm thinking about getting more of his coins. They are a lot of fun when showing to dealers at coin shows. His 1915 Standing Liberty quarter is next. I could use a Large Cent with a 1645 date. Edited by just carl

Great topic! Concentrating on US coins, I think an 1815 cent would be high on my list, or a 1933 Washington quarter! Here's one UK coin I'd like - a 1961 halfpenny! It was the only date in the 20th century (until they were discontinued in 1967) that the halfpenny was not struck for circulation!  (with a little help from Photoshop)  Edited by NumisRob

Agree about the 1909-D Indian and Lincoln, and the 1853 Arrows & Rays dollar. (Pretty sure the former two exist in Carr versions, and I suspect the last one only doesn't because finding the right planchet is tricky.) Hilarious pair: 1861-D and 1907-D quarter eagles. The former would stand for Dahlonega, the latter for Denver. (IOTL, no Liberty Head quarter eagles were made at the Denver mint, though there were 1907-D half eagles.) In terms of Russian coinage, of course I want to see some 2000 and 2004 rubles, as well as 2010/12/13/15 kopeks. Quote:

The first Super Beetles, although produced in August 1970, were actually for model year 1971.  |
