Amazing catch Cat. Really a fast start. I thought I would be driven insane by your first person (or cat) verbiage. But now I miss it Don't grow up because of people like I

Wow! Meows very first variety find! Sooooo exciting! And what value would a find like that add?
Meow was suspecting the S mint because of top part of the s being filled in, with the extra bump. Meow thought it was maybe another mintmark underneath. The damage on top of the top part of the s, Meow saw that. The fact that the other curve of the s is filled in with dirt, Meow thought that too might be hiding something too. But, it could of been all wishful thinking. Thanks all.
Not all people seem to like Cats. Allergies maybe? Litterbox issues? Canine loyalty?

The 1972 is just coin contact on the upper serif area. In the lower loops there are marks from a damaged mint mark punch. No RPM.

No - my mother was a crazy cat lady and had 15 of them litterbox beauties pissing all over her hardwood floors for 20 years. Turned the hard maple that had a beautiful finish but is now black from all the pee soaking into it after we ripped out the carpets. They moved to SC and now I have to tear all the cat pee black stinking wood out of the house and replace it with new before I can put it on the market!!

Quote: That sounds rough Mark! That must suck. Yeah, it is. Got back from there this morning and you have to instantly wash your clothes and take a hot shower as working with wood that is covered in cat pee is sticky to the touch and stinks so bad. I know there are good cat lovers out there that take care of their cats religiously. But My parents were too old to take GOOD care of them and they wouldn't get rid of them. That's what happens at times when you won't give up your pets because you Can't "live without them" but can't give them the care required. Then your house is turned into "THEIR" house instead of the people who actually own it!!

I know what the smell is like from cat pee. It's happened in my house before, but we found out the problem and cleaned it up right away. If you want to own pets, be prepared to take care of them. Otherwise, if you can't, get rid of them.

I thought cats were usually spotting mice, chipmunks, & various other small animals - never knew they would also hunt RPM's!

Sounds like this has turned into a Cat pee post forum.... Anyway, Meow is a solitary Kitty and would not pee in inappropriate places. But back to the original reason for this post, as Meow has a found another similar RPM. The condition in not so great, sort of like Cat pee stained oak floors...........But here you go, ANOTHER 1968 d RPM penny found in coin rolls by a Cat.

Meow thinks this one was a lot easier to find, due to fact this Cat was familiar with the scent of a 1968 d RPM. Anyone have any dates of other pennies that you think this Cat should keep a eye and whisker on? This Cat is really enjoying scratching through coin rolls in Meow's new found hobby.
