The 64's are 90% silver, the 65-70 are 40% silver... the rest are clad, unless they came from silver proof sets. In 1976, they had special sets that were 40% silver also. Mine are in Dansco Albums... lets you look at them, but keeps them safe. Doubles I keep in airtites.

Thank you for all of the feedback!
I've been searching for forums to join the past few weeks and I have to say from what I've read that you all are the most helpful and knowledgeable.
I'll get some good cropped pictures posted later today and maybe y'all can help me get an idea for grading.
Cheers, Cody

Like you, I like the Kennedy halves. For one of the most comprehensive list of errors w/ pictures, check out http://www.varietyvista.comYou will find there are many, what I term, micro-doubled dies om that site which I tend to ignore since I need a microscope to see them. Here is a regular issue Kennedy half cheat sheet I used when roll searching. The list summarizes info from many different web sites and some books. Although the list does include mention of the Type I and Type I designer initial varieties, almost all proofs and silver varieties are NOT on the page. Those varieties can be found at the provided link.

Quote: Do it. I tried to get one - sold out everywhere I looked. I did get the 2nd Kennedy album 8167 from "2012 to date" to bide the time untill the 8166's get back in stock.

I checked out Variety Vista from Earle42's post. The site is amazing! However, I am at a lose when it comes to understanding the numbering system. For instance I see 1964 DDO-002 PR-2-O-V-CCW FS-101. I know the DDO stands for double die and PR is proof but what is the rest telling me? Another one is labeled 1964 DDO-035 PR-35-O-II-C and leaves more confused lol. I found a key but the key lacks quite a bit of the abbreviations being used and doesn't seem to stick with the same ordering.
