I think it's a low pressure strike do to the thickness of the planchet.

Low-pressure due to thin planchet.

nss-52 I think it's " obvious" it's on the middle , that's the way to show the difference on the thickness ,(you put it between two that you know are thicker). I didn't notice the mistake ,thanks for pointing it out, but you read the post any way .If a any point you see I made a mistake feel free to fix it for me or move to the next post

It's not obvious. Most cents (and other coins) will tend to vary in thickness as you go around the edge, and thickness at the edge has very little if anything to do with the thickness of the original planchet. Thickness of the rim has more to do with the strength of the strike and the centering of the planchet in the collar. Also to some extent the clock position you are looking at on the coin. You will notice in your image that if ypu were to move a bout a quarter of the way around the coin toward the bottom of the picture the three coins are almost the same thickness. Or if you move toward the top of the image you can see that the outer coin is getting thinner than the center one. So an edge comparison for thickness is NOT obvious. In fact in most cases it is fairly useless.

Sorry , but I don' t agree with you, it may not be obvious to you but it's for me ,if I see a difference on the thikness I'll weigth it.
