I believe all the 1855 half-cents were slanted, right? On the cents, there were two varieties.

Yeah, don't feel bad, for some reason my brain fails to see the "HALF" - probably too many head injuries when I was younger. But anyhow that is a superb Half Cent. And I still like it at 45, reverse may be holding it to 40 but I'll give it the benefit of a weak strike for the leaves details and stick with 45. Edited by Mark1959

EF-40. Yes, all the 1855 Half Cents have the "Longacre" slanted 5s. |
