I guess 1941 because it looks like a small s-mint mark. I am not 100% sure though.

Quote: Have you come across any Henning nickels? Not during this CRH run of the past 2 1/2 years or so... I did find a 1944 Henning nickel back when I worked as a cashier at a local fast food place back in the mid-1980s.

Ah shucks it was nottin . All you had to do was read my '' About Me '' on my profile LOL. I did! BTW, speaking of, yesterday, I stumbed upon a little 25 roll hoard of OBW Lincolns (16) and Jeffersons (9) from the 1960s and 1970s, along with some assorted wheats from the 1940s and 1950s, and a roll of circulated 1953-D Jeffersons. A friend of mine at one of the banks I go to was holding them for me. I was VERY happy that amongst the rolls was one each of 1969 and 1971 Philadelphia minted Lincolns! As for the poll, the one thing that shocked me is that no one guessed 1947. I may do a part II... I have one which is a little easier to guess...

Thanks, T-BOP! It was a fun find.
The only bad thing is there were also 20 "reprocessed" rolls of common date S-mint wheat cents... Yes, they all had been cleaned to *look* new... I didn't take those.
