sounds like a Greaser - Grease Filled Die. not worth sending in for authentication as this is common. but as others have said - need pics of the coin to really evaluate it

It would be hard to spend less than $50 to have a common error graded for a 3 cent coin for me.

Looks more like a struck through debris. But the coin rim is damaged at 8:00.

No. It would raise the value to possible a dollar or less. Way to much to have it graded.

@Muneer1978, I agree that it is definitely not worth it to send this cent to PCGS. Best to put it in a 2x2 for safekeeping.

WAIT! WAIT SEND IT IN! Now all this may not apply directly to the OP's coin, but this goes for presumed errors, and even known mint errors of a common type. This is one rode hard and put up wet coin.

nope - put it in a 2x2 or airtite and keep for your own collection.
