Thank you, Jimper, for details.

Yes, I forgot, that these coins lost few grams due to shape and same 38 mm diameter.

I've quickly tried to check the internet for your COA... really not much.

It will be good for CDBB (Centre for Digital Built Britain) member, I don't think, that it will make the coin special.

I love the colourful package and the nice wooden box. But the coin itself is average. Had the coin adapted the same blue, purple, and silver colours of the package, instead of being gold plated, the coin would be more appealing, I think.

Also, personally, the maple leaves design itself is not as attractive as the bullion maple leaf design. I would buy anything with the classic Maple Leaf design on it.

My COA number is around 660.

@YesOrNo... You seem to have won the lottery

My COA is similar to @jimper & @john100 at #2671. While this was "free" (price of admission was sufficient purchase to be Platinum+) it was a little galling to see the thank you note that indicated a low COA number. On an issue of 6,000 units, a low COA # is less than 1,000 or ideally, less than 600 (10%). 2600 or 3200/3300 is not a low COA.

I hate to say, but kind of feel happy with my totally random COA of 519. It really is a nice coin. My wife even liked the colours on the outer box.

Isn't this sort of the problem with the recent NCLT, the few positive response is the outer box design is better than the gold plated coin itself. The only reason I brought up the low COA was that was suppose to be one of the benefits of being a MC

@john100

Agree... On the "thank you" note included with the coin, it said I had a low COA. I am not a COA collector nor is it really that important to me but to be offered a low COA and get 2700 out of 6000 feels off.

Unlike some of the prior commentary, I quite like the scalloped edge... I kept the "Master Of" series and have subscribed to the scalloped Chinese Calendar series. Regarding this coin... I like it well enough and the RCM don't need to offer a free coin to Platinum members so it is welcome but the bungle on the COA takes some of the shine off. They would have been better not mentioning it.

It is similar to the let down you experience when you get notified of a $1,000 bonus at work then look at your paycheque to see that almost half of that has gone to payroll taxes... Yes it is nice and unexpected but disappointing all at the same time as you feel the potential was not really fulfilled.

This is Canada you expect to lose about half of your bonus to taxes, it's still a great country, other than COA #1 the rest would be almost meaningless but still the thought is what counts.

I received a random 3200 COA didn't even think of giving a nice low # to reward their better customer no wonder sales are cratering

@john100, I am surprised you got a coin since I thought you no longer collect RCM NCLT. You always say the NCLT market is dead.

So was I, still a PP for what ever reason still have a rep and all, I was so mad at them for destroying the Big coin series and it's true probably 95% of NCLT drift instantly to massive discounts but I not going to refuse a freebie. I sort of understand why the RCM reps keep some customers on the previous MC levels on the hope they will start purchasing again, hard to argue the NCLT market is strong and vibrant.

RCM destroyed it again, imo, by minting 2018 Big "Leafs" Penny. The tribute coins are nice to have , imo. But why to mint again the special one? Honestly, looks like, mine 2012 will go to ebay.

Ouch. Some individual coins from the set that were recently sold on ebay were going for about ~$300-350. So ~$2000 for all 6 coins is the current market price for the set. I'm surprised at the plunge in value - not that I didn't expect the value to depreciate, but the extent of the depreciation is disconcerting.

Seems like the Big Coins from the 2015 and 2016 sets have not depreciated as much.
