Images of both sides are required so we can tell what the story is with the coin, also if there is anything 'odd' about the edge, some pics if that would also help.

It is an off-set strike, which is also considered an out of collar broad-strike, take your pick. Just that there are centered broad strikes and those that don't cut any interior details enough to be an off set definition.

The lack of reeding on the edge (and the edge's shape) suggests that it was struck out of collar (broadstrike) and, obviously, off-center.

If you search broadstrike on ebay there are a few similar coins listed in the $100 to $200 range.

There's some excellent info regarding Australian Broadstrike error coins here:

https://www.australian-coins.com/er...coin-errors/

It's good to note that you are not handling the coin with your bare hands, get it into some protection ASAP.

The condition of the coin can make a big difference to the price achieved and fingerprints on the surface are very detracting.

If it was my coin I'd be wanting in the range of $200 - $300 for it.

Maybe somewhere in the middle, as the Obv does have some 'bag' marks that would reduce the grade.

Thank you I know it's probably hard to give an accurate grade but anyone got a rough idea? I have someone interested in purchasing it and wants to know what I would take for it and really don't want to get ripped off. It's such a beautiful coin

I really don't know what to ask for it, but I trust @Nevol, so $300 may be a good starting point. Haggle from there.

However, I have a (centered) broadstruck US dime and would be laughed at to ask that much for it (in either currency). So, I'm not sure I'm of any assistance...

EF-aUNC? Doesn't look like it's seen a lot of circulation.

Where would be the best place to put this up for sale? The offers I have received in person have been a joke

I'd say ebay too.
