Can someone please post a link to what the attributes are for this coin? I will be looking through some 1936 pennies, and may as well check for these as well.

Go to Variety Vista, coppercoins, or doubleddies.com. There you will find the links to all kinds of errors and varieties.

Pather, you are looking at a genuine Doubled Die Reverse. You might want to do more research on Doubled Dies. Please check out these links and read the information. http://www.doubleddie.com http://www.varietyvista.com http://www.coppercoins.com

Stoneman, that is an awesome link. From reading this it appears that I have dismissed quite a few cents that show this type of expansion doubling as Die Deterioration. This was a lesson well learned. Thank you my friend.

So, I looked at some of those links considering the possibility of searching for these varieties. After reviewing just a sampling of these varieties, I have come to the conclusion that this group of collectors is certifiably insane. You can have your DDR's and DDO's, I'm gonna stick with the simple stuff.

Well, fine Sir, then SHOW ME THE MONEY. I haven't seen values listed anywhere.

Actually, I'm quite interested in seeing some sort of price guide or something for these varieties.

Nice find, and a clear example. All of the 1936 doubled dies are fascinating and underrated.

@John1, thank you for that link. Does something similar exist for the DDR, DDO varieties?
