@morgspapa

Well, we'd need a date to answer definitively. Might I respectfully suggest you check your Red Book or the Mint's product page?

In 2018, AGEs were available as such:

UNC (aka "Burnished")
1 oz W

Proof
1/10 oz W
1/4 oz W
1/2 oz W
1 oz W

Bullion - available only from 3rd party bullion dealers
1/10 oz
1/4 oz
1/2 oz
1 oz

Guys, Thank You for Always being there to share the information and experiences of the Numismatic World. I have seen the Uncirculated or Burnished 2018 $10 AGE with the West point Mint mark on the obverse. I have also seen the Uncirculated Versions with no mint mark and under the specs in the ebay auctions, the mint stated WEST POINT..... I just want a clear , obvious schedule to work towards for the planned future.... Thanks All. Baseball, I am not sure Your point. I know the big guy will easily outspend Me, I just feel, While I place about 20 orders a year for ? , too long, I wanted to feel or believe, that Our money is and Always will be, just as green as all the rest out there..........

Mainly just that the US mint like all of mints out there, would only deal with big dealers if they could. Our money is just as good, but it's more work and hassle for them to fill 100 orders of 1 than 1 order of 100.

If you look around premiums keep rising and at least for foreign mints the big boys get discounts on the sale price or exclusive distribution ect.

The point was really that it's not a level playing field nor will it ever be

That's true for almost any market. Buy wholesale and you're getting scale of economy (and preferred status). To your point, bb21, they charge me more per unit for my order of 1 or 2 than they do Big Guy X for his 1 order of 100 because it costs less for them to do business that way.

Not sure what to tell you other that, again, the U.S. Mint didn't make 1/4 oz. UNC/Burnished W AGEs in 2018. I strongly suspect that what you saw was a 1/4 oz. proof coin if it had the W MM on it. Or, it was a counterfeit. Or if in a slab, it was mislabeled. The ASE/AGE program can be confusing! Once again, the Red Book is your friend for this kind of stuff.

You need more reliable resources. The Red Book is one and the U.S. Mint is another; ebay and CSN are not.

As has been mentioned a few times here that coin does not exist and if you saw one it was counterfeit OR you saw was this:

https://catalog.usmint.gov/american...oins#start=1

or this:

https://catalog.usmint.gov/american...uct-schedule

only one ounce burnished W mintmarked gold eagles in 2018

..and

That coin does exist but it is the bullion product not the uncirculated version and it is minted at West Point

I wish you had said you saw it on this bogus coin selling channel and I would have responded differently...I know that the thread is about this program but when you said you had seen one I assumed anywhere but there...

Believe them instead of any and all research you or anyone else can do and that's your choice...

Chart goes through 2016 but nothing changed after that

Happy Holidays...

Seems like all the facsimile labeled coins that don't presently exist are in ANACS labels...I remember this happening to a couple of other issues and no one could figure out how they had them in hand (Hint: They didn't) ...never mind already graded ones.

There is zero issue with pre-selling a coin but to present it as in hand (and graded) just rings so many alarm bells....

That's fine...and very common. Listed as a pre-sale with photoshopped labels. Not listed as "in hand"....

(at least that one added "Sample" to the label)

Just saw one of the CSN shows. They weren't 2019 coins, they were backdated ones that ANACS put in 2019 slabs for the show.
