It's incuse, so most likly a dropped letter... let's get mike diamond over here for confirmation

I agree that the second, incuse mintmark is a dropped letter. The rest of the coin was struck through the same kind of "grease" that is responsible for the dropped letter.

NY, there may be some type of premium for that type of error. Remember, your cent is worth what someone is willing to give.

Now we know it is a dropped letter error,it needs an acetone bath and an Air-Tite. I think that dropped letter errors are few and far between and have a decent value.

Just go to Walgreens and buy a bottle of PURE ACETONE
Soak the coin for several hours,then rinse it with water and put it away.

Ok well that is good news to hear from Mike. @NYF, for sure save this coin in a 2x2. Not sure whether it is worth getting slabbed or not.

Probably not slab worthy unless it's going to ANACS with a bulk submission to save money. Not worth it on it's own. However it probably won't sell high without authentication so my vie is get it slabbed by the LCS or a 10+ ANACS submission
