As far as a technical grade XF40 is fair. That coin is worth AU money though.
You have a special piece in that the amount of toning/color combined with the wear is very, very uncommon.

Should be 45. 40 is a little bit soft of a grade. But probably very little difference in value for a 40 vs 45 on this piece.

Thanks guys. Everyone's advice when I ask around is to leave it as a 40 cac in the old holder even though I was toying with the idea of crossing to PCGS. Not a single person seems to think I should do that. As far as grade I'm happy with the 40 cac and prefer it to a newer generation mac holder even st 45.
