I don't really collect the states quarters so I have no idea what something like this might be worth in the condition that it's in. Any ideas?

GC I'm kind of embarrassed to say that it was 100% dumb luck. I'm pretty sure it came from the pocket change I received back after getting a couple of tacos at the Taqueria down the street from my house. Not a hundred percent sure.

Even if you only found it in pocket change, at least you knew enough to look for it. That counts for something.

I had no idea how low the population count was when I posted this. From what I can tell only about 5,000 or so have been found and mostly in Des Moines. There's a few like 50 or so according to one website that were found in and around San Antonio Texas which is a buck-fifty, give or take, north of where I am currently. The odds aren't very good but I'm going to continue to keep my eye open maybe snag another at some point down the road.

I'm not sure if I have enough posts yet to buy, sell or trade, but once I do I'm not married to it if anyone is in the market.

Tucson, Arizona and San Antonio, Texas where to two I know of were shipped. I love about 100+ miles from Tucson, and never saw a one here. The word got out quickly there and everyone saw it on TV and snagged them all up before I got there.
