To the CCF Nice find. There certainly would be a premium to any collector of error currency. Do not handle it and put in some sort of plastic insert to protect it. Any creases or marks will devaluation it.

Oh jeeze, sorry, I see the miscut now! Sorry, I thought that was background. I was wrong, that is a valuable note. LOL I agree, that note needs to be put in a large size paper money plastic holder.

Since they can be created post BEP from uncut sheets, you always have to be careful with cutting error notes, but your note looks like a BEP error to me. The extra paper on the note does correspond to what you could expect to see from a note in the A1 plate position and the serial number is low enough that it doesn't appear to be from an uncut sheet. I've found that a good place to check for all kinds of error notes is Lyn Knight. They auction many error notes on a fairly routine basis. Here's an example of $2 note from a recent auction (Oct 2018) with an error similar to yours that sold for $120.

Welcome to CCF Wayne.
Cool error note. Anyway I could get you to photograph the note with the upper left corner folded ?

I am wondering: I see no sign of the extra paper ever being folded,so how was it wrapped in the brick from the BEP? BEP sheet SN's used to start with 99 that they sold in sheet form but they stopped that in a certain year, what year was it? John1

I view the OP's note on a tablet. When enlarged, a fold line is seen running right to left downward.

If you look closely for it, you can see the fold in the OPs pic just to the left of the 1 in upper left corner. IMHO the fold is just where it should be to create this cutting error. A similar error can easily be created with just a regular sheet of folded paper and pair of scissors.
