Well, I sure hope the currency guides survive the axe. I have used them for many years....though, like the Red Book, most of the information is online.

They're gone. LITERALLY.
The books division was sold to Penguin. The collectibles magazines to "Active Interests Media". There was basically nothing left, so they filed to dissolve the bankruptcy.

Hopefully the publications will survive the transfer of ownership, although I am sure the under-performers will get the axe.

Um... ok. I give.
The numismaster link on the aimmedia article states that it's powered by Krause publications.

It seems they need to update their imagery.

FWIW, I never have received any copies of NN. It will soon be 60 days.
No wonder they are struggling. Why on earth would it take two months to initialize a subscription? When I called I was told it may take until November.

I plan to call them next week and if they still give me a song and dance about when my sub will begin I will demand a refund.
Is anybody on here currently a subscriber and if so are you getting your issues?

Print publications are sadly and unfortunately dying a slow death.. I doubt if anything can save them. Most, if not all, will be gone within 5 years.

Just one of many companies fading away lately.

One of the Krause-now-AIM pubs just reported their statistics. For those who don't know, every publication is required to report once a year in the pub itself. It's either a table or a block of print and usually buried on the last few pages.
You have to report the average # for the 12 months and the most recent copy, the # printed, mailed, distributed through newsagents and given away free.
Anyway for whichever pub it was, the press run was around 14K and the number mailed to subscribers was a little over seven thousand.
Not exactly a major force...

The Numismatist also prints their data in the November issue, for 2018 it was 16.6k copies and a total distribution of 15043.

My subscription is showing on my account as starting with issue #24 for 2019. Does anyone have the latest issue and what number is showing on it?
