Why's the rim and beads on the bottom of the reverse as they are?

I didn't notice the rim initially ... the coin looks a little oval.

@okiecoiner - the photo was taken on an angle, it's perfectly round.

@Hounddog Bill - it's in a holder with a black foam insert around the coin. I guess I should have removed it for the photo but it kept the coin stable.
