The dark area under Liberty is a carbon spot. Look in the very center of that area. That is where it is?

Sometimes carbon spots can tone a coin:
1917-P-LWC-DDO-001-FS-101-Shows-Poorly-Due-To-Circulation.
These two are on the rim areas and the toning radiates towards the center of that half of the coin.

Jim, until you get an upgrade for this one, I would love to do a trade for this one, in the future.

If I am ever blessed to find another one we'll take a look at a trade for sure.
