An unplated loonie looks just like a quarter, nickel, dime, this is just a toned loonie with scratches as many has already explained

Thanks for the enhanced picture, I will hold onto it for the time being, still can't be sure if it's an error or PMD your inhancrd picture looks like it may have extra metal on the dot above the Queen's head but I can't see it with my eyes, hopefully it turns out to be something, if not nice learning new info:)

That looks like a scratch on the coin to me. Note how it only seems to affect the high points.

Even enhanced you can only see the one line across it, also it's not only on the high points, the is 3 lines or 6 they don't actually intersect they all stop before intersecting in the same spot

It's a scratch and PMD. The large scratch across the face is only on the high point. The high point on the coin is the lowest, incuse area on the working die. There is nothing in the minting process that could do that. And "rocky", I wouldn't put visions of sugarplums into the OP's eyes.

You can see another one of the scratches from this angle, there is one more you still can't see with my camera, could you possibly make this photo better as well? Someone could have made these lines they are perfectly straight, also at a high point right in the middle I can't see a scratch over her ear

You can sort of make out the third line as well going down her neck, but all three lines go across the coin but don't touch the center where they would all cross

Still holding onto this coin it's very interesting the one side has no gloss left to it. And the queen side looks shiny still and clean but still yet to come across anything even close to this in looks, even without the "scratches" but you can't see close enough to know if it is actually a scratch you'd need to inhance my bad picture like 50×. As a Canadian iv come across thousands of not tens of thousands of loonies and never seen one like it. Also if you ever check this again rocky why did your enhancement make parts of the coin look purple?

I'll post a comparison photo with a normal loonie so you can see the difference, idk what could cause the coin to turn this colour I have not seen anything comparable online or toning like this. (If it's toning) but the coin is clean and shiney

If anyone comes across a loonie similar to this one please post it, I'd appreciate it a lot.

Here are the comparison photos I couldn't find another 2013 around so I compared it with a 2012 coin is still clean and shiny like the other one but idk what could cause this toning. It's so dark
