Another reason I don't think it's Die Deterioration is bc almost all of the devices on that side of the coin look like this so that seems to be an unlikely coincidence? Plus with the drumstick smudging away from the rim in the strongest area, just seems to make it even more legit? I just really thought this was the one:(

Note on TRUST, the direction of the Die Deterioration is flowing. The closest direction to the rim. The is die wear on the last 'T' is the strongest, because of the closer to the rim.

Sorry, I was talking about Die Deterioration on the original coin and pics on this topic. We all know that I'm probably the dumbest member in this forum but Die Deterioration doesn't seem like the issue with the 1976 coin? Too many devices are doubled

Question: How many devices showing what you call as doubling, are showing that towards the rim direction?

I see splits. I vote DD. Nice find. What do you use to take pics? They're very up close and personal

Just some cheap random 1000X I bought off Amazon. It's more about getting the lighting and angles right from what I've learned so far

Well Variety Vista had nothing listed for that year/mint.
Wexler has two DDRs, both show a spread towards the center, not towards the rim.

But there are very minor.
