It is hard to say due to the toning and the lighting, but I think that I see a little wear, which would mean not MS.

Certainly a beautiful example and probably uncirculated, but I can't get much of a feel for the surface detail because of the toning, so I'll just leave it at that.

Quote: Veeeery minimal wear... Any wear whatsoever, no matter how minimal will,by definition, prevent the coin from grading MS. Are you sure it's wear?

I will try to get a different angle. Hopefully we will be able to see better. I am very hesitant to clean any coin, especially since I collect toned coins I love the look

Thanks, but when in doubt, best to zip it.

It's got the detail to make it to MS. Now it all depends on lustre. Even toned coins will have understated but obvious lustre in mint state. Is there a slash beside the king's nose or is that just toning? Toned coins are beautiful things.
