CoinFacts' photo for the FS-301 variety has dirt all around the date of the display coin making it difficult to see the overdate.

NGC Variety Plus states that the doubling for this same variety is most apparent on the '1`.

Here's another full date shot showing some apparent doubling around the '3' and possibly the '1':

Here's the '1' again taken from a view 180 degrees away: basically upside down-

Here is a PCGS Example:

Their recommended price is $300. So I figure they are high. They call it AU50. Which I feel they are over reaching for that graded.

Your coin looks like a different die than they list.

cert. # 47462267

If this coin is not an FS-301 where would I go to have this RPD attributed?

It did make a 58 though.

Here is the CoinFacts example FS-301 with the dirt making it hard to see anything:

If you compare the date position on your coin to the PCGS example, they don't appear to be from the same die. What PCGS is calling FS-301 has a much higher placed 3. It could be an unlisted RPD. If so I am not sure how you would go about asking for it to be listed as a new variety.

The crossover from PCGS to NGC results I just received: "A Top Pop"

Congrats on the crossover!

But is it just me or does this top pop VP-001 not match the reference photo for VP-001? The date looks like it's positioned further left on mdp's coin than on the NGC reference photo...

Based upon Tman's observations I created this side-by-side comparison to avoid multiple screen flips. With this comparison now easier to visually analyze, I'd like to get some opinions since there are several questions on how to proceed and the potential consequences depending upon what the consensus is.

In my opinion, this is not a VP-001/Flynn RPD-003. I need to look at a couple of other sources, that I don't have with me at the moment, to see if I can identify this one. But, VP-001 is Flynn's RPD-003 and this is not a RPD-003..

Why I say this isn't a VP-001: Notice the placement of 1 in the date in relation to the B in the neck. Not marked, but also note the placement of zero in relation to the denticles. Notice that they are slightly different. Also, as you can see by the red arrows, the VP-001/RPD-003 needs to have a second three visible in both the upper and lower loops. The example shows a little something in the upper loop, but nothing notable in the lower loop. Finally, I also placed a green arrow at the spot on the left side of the one. I am not sure that is anything of note, but would need to look at that in person, under my microscope to say for sure.

Welcome Jmon.

I agree with Jmon's assessment. First thing I noticed was that the base of the 1 didn't line up with the denticles either.
