Have not heard back from Mr. Wexler but the 1993 D DDR I found CRH would have to be my best if it is attributed as such.

Do wheat bags/cherry picks count? Edit: GC, if you chose any other coin I would be surprised. -CH27

Quote: Do wheat bags/cherry picks count? I'd imagine they do. They fall under the same premise. Though cherrypicks I might have to say no to only because you aren't "searching" in the same sense you would be with rolls or bags. Quote: GC, if you chose any other coin I would be surprised. I've had some great scores but without a doubt this is the coolest. If we were including cherrypicks there is one that tops this, but only in an economic sense.

LOM, I hope it doesn't throw off your thread if I put a cherry-pick here. I haven't found anything great CRH this year, although I did search/hunt for the coin I mention below. This year I found an 1888-O Morgan dollar Hot Lips DDO VAM-4 in VG (possibly cleaned) searching a coin shop's junk Morgans. Finally finding that coin was very exciting, even though it may be cleaned. Personally it is my favorite DDO and one that took me a while to finally cherry-pick. Given it's listing in the Red Book and almost all value guides that include Morgan dollars and major varieties, it has been tough to find unattributed. This year I hope to pick a nicer VF-XF example. Nice finds everyone! Good luck hunting in the new year! -CH27

That is a decision I would be hard pressed to make. My CRH is mostly BU rolls, but some things like 1987-D/D RPM-003 (slabbed PCGS MS-66 RD), 1955 DDO-002 (slabbed PCGS MS-66 RD) and 1944-D DDO-001 (slabbed PCGS MS-66 RD) come to mind. The 1955 is the PCGS coinfacts main plate coin.

I thought about writing some sappy crap about finding a caring community and a shared hobby.

I didn't do much crh. I think two boxes this year. This one is my favorite. I've only seen three posted, which leads me to believe they aren't common! I absolutely killed it on cherrypicks. There's so many varieties to look for I cant even look for a fraction of them! I've got one of my best coming in the mail today!
