From the pictures provided the Mint mark looks suspect in the position it's in as do the branches above it compared to many others on PCGS website.
I hope it's real, and I wonder why someone would let a few thousand dollar coin go for a mere $450 unless they just don't know and did zero research before selling it.

The more I look at that reverse ,the mint mark looks weird to me , shouldn't be that big and clear for that not so clear photo . But then again that would make the whole coin fake in reality because a 1919-D is more rarer and more valuable ,or just have no MM which is still worth thousands in MS or put a D on it . I hope you guys can understand what I'm trying to say . BTW, 1919-S Walker in MS-61 is valued at $4,260 according to the Numismedia fair market value price guide .
@op > check over that coin with a fine tooth comb .Bring a loupe , scale and magnet with you . If it's genuine , buy it and run ; Don't look back !

Lol I do agree now that the points been made about the mint mark location and it does look like a stunning clear S. It looks to me to be in the same spot as the 1918 S Walker, wouldn't that be a find, 1919 with 1918 S reverse lol. I have my magnet and scale along with my scope but I'm very skeptical. Would love some more feedback.

Somethings wrong here. Now would anyone that has been around a long time be willing to sell any coin to anyone for a fraction of it's value. Last time I saw something like this it turned out to be a fake. Selling locally is easier than on places like ebay or a coin show where the police could be involved. If real, why would he want to just sell off a valuable coin for so much less than he could get even at a coin store. Some thing is just not right here.

The coin is to good to be true. A 2K+ coin offered for $450. The coin appears to be a counterfeit with the mint mark in the wrong position. Pass.

***UPDATE***
I asked for more pics via email and got blocked on this certain site by the seller. I used another email to talk to him and went to check it out, first thing, scales and DING DING DING we have a counterfeit, 11.5g under by 1g and to be in such good condition theirs no way lol. He was shady, firm on $450 until I left and said no thanks and he said $350 real quick. The Maker's Mark was an awful upward facing blob and here is a pic of the "mint mark" thanks everybody!

Astounding that counterfeiters go to all that work, and then botch something so simple and obvious as placement of a mint mark, or fonts on the dates or some such.

Also astounding that an "old timer" would stoop this low. Wish we could hear more on that story.

I am extremely happy I have been on this forum and these threads are so helpful, I'm definitely glad I confided in y'all! And another note, the "old timer" as he said in his messages on the selling app, turned out to be 40 something, heck I'm 38 he said he'd been around a while and been doing this a while, exact words...lol. thanks again for all the help and replies!
