i had one looking a little better than this which less rub and marks on the profile and it just came back MS64 from PCGS. everyone on CCM had it at minimum MS65 and most had it at MS66

I just got this one back from ANACS. Not thrilled with the grade, I was thinking it might come back a 64. I believe ANACS has gotten tougher on Morgans. At least there's not a huge difference in price between 63 and 64.

Bummer. I seen worse looking morgans in a ms65 holder from both PCGS and NGC.

They probably have. Sad when you submit a coin influences the grade. Your Morgan surely should have gotten a 64.

yeah I just got my 1899 o back I thought was MS-65 minimum but closer to 66 . They said 64 and was kept out of a higher grade do to a few hairlines. Completely think there full of it. My fault for not cracking it out first .

the 1884-CC should have been 65+

maybe insufficient luster in hand for the downgrade?
