Thanks MUDEKI, it did take me a fair while, but it was something I wanted to get done. I have some other denomination NZ error coins, but will probably put them in another thread as I've sort of bogged this one down already.  life is a mystery to be lived not a problem to be solved

So, I think I may have found a New Zealand 3d variety that Nevol didn't have:  Looks like a variety with just a die crack to the right patu to me? |
