Thanks MUDEKI, it did take me a fair while, but it was something I wanted to get done. I have some other denomination NZ error coins, but will probably put them in another thread as I've sort of bogged this one down already.

2 kopecks 1930 USSR. "2 stars".
Very rare defect. This is not a double blow. Presumably - a defect in the manufacture of the working stamp. I know of only 4 mention of such a coin. In the photo - the best example.

So, I think I may have found a New Zealand 3d variety that Nevol didn't have:

Looks like a variety with just a die crack to the right patu to me?

Mine all seem to have cracks to both left & Right Patu.

Have a closer look at your coin, I fancy I can see some more cracks involving the legend.

2008 Indian Rupee error. I bought this amazing error coin on ebay for only 6.49. It's been clipped 4 times and it's struck off-center. :)

Hi KurtS

Update: this gallery is now segment by country to make viewing the images easier over several pages as the gallery grows.
You're welcome to submit your error/variety coins, or I will pick from the forum as time permits.

it is not easy at all to get through the gallery: photo's missing, my computer freezing in a post with large group of photo's
moreover, are collectors interested in countries or in error type, maybe the latter

perhaps you can considerate idea to make sub-galleries according to TYPE of error

e.g.
Hub and die errors
Planchet preparation errors
Strike errors
