Cheek chatter, clear scratch over first feather, carbon spotting right obverse. Maybe 64, but not worth the cost of grading either way.

@coinfrog How come? I was considering getting it slabbed.is the cost of grading more valuable than the coin itself?

I think 64 RD. If it were mine and I wanted it graded I would go for it. If it grades 63+ or 64 I think it would be a good investment .... IMHO

MS-64RD. Full red coin. If it were mine, I'd take a chance getting it graded.

You need a 64RD grade to justify the cost. I don't see this as a shoo-in, that's all. Just my opinion.

Granted , a decent red IHC , but it's a common date . IMHO
it's not worth paying big bucks to slab and grade .

The last time I checked ( NGC ) grading and slabbing is about $35 plus shipping - assuming you are a member of NGC. Maybe even more attractive when you figure in that you get an allowance for grading when you become a member. Am I wrong? Seems like a reasonable cost for a high grade coin. At least it does to me.

Assuming you have a membership, the economy tier is $22, plus $10 handling, and another $20 shipping.

What would be an estimate value for this coin? if it does grade around 63 -64? I have seen a different number of values depending on multiple sites and ebay.

ebay sold listing will be your best bet for prices. Looks like MS-64 RD is $200-240. I'd probably cut that almost in half for MS-63.

Edit: remember to always check the SOLD listings in the filters, what someone has it listed for will be inaccurate.

I don't think a 65 is out of the question
