You can't take pics through two layers of plastic and we can't grade for the same reason, just educated guesses on our part.
Besides, who cares what ICCS says, the gouges on the cheek relegate this coin to the melt bin for many of us.
Uncirculated death dollars are so plentiful you can buy them by the hundreds for melt.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

Totally agree with @Terry T. Wear on the shoulder strap and the high points on the totem pole as well as lots of little nicks in the surfaces. Never mint state... AU-50ish.

There is no wear on the hair , that is a strike issue
particular to the 1958 coins due to the Reverse Relief.
The coin is mint state , but a real dog . If this graded
any higher than 60 it is a win for the submitter .
The question I have is why would anyone submit
a coin that is a bullion piece for grading ?
As DBM states there are bucket loads of these for
Little over scrap silver .
Also to the real numismatist out there , search for a
1958 , with full strike and few marks .......good luck !

Pacific,
that means I would have to go through about "a whole bunch" of them (already in the silver bucket) to surely NOT find...? seriously, usually not worth keeping except for BV.
OR, as a gift for your Overseas visitors (dip them first to make them shiny)

A nice PL with Cameo is much easier to find and very reasonable...or at least they were at one time...enough to give out as gifts to my NW Coast friends.

I just bought it for fun; you don't see too many graded PL-60s around...

Same coin/holder/holdered coin. Its all together in one flip.

I just held the coin part of it out of the way when I photographed the card

hope you did not pay more than BV.
I guess, based on ICCS old flip, the grading cost was more than BV at the time..?
