What all came in the lot. You might be able to sell off some of the other stuff to recoup what you spent.

Wooooohoooo! That's a real beaut there! Always a great feeling to cross one of those big ones of the list.

Yes sir! Definitely a great addition to the collection. A lot of these are riddled with bubbles but still get the grade. Yours has some but a very nice reverse. That's probably why this one went higher. Great coin!

Thanks everyone for the comments.

I was kind of bidding by the seat of my pants since the single image of the lot wasn't very clear. All I could tell for sure was that they were were slabbed by NGC in the old "soap bar" holders.

I agree about the bubbles on some of the early years. I've often wondered if the bubbles get worse over time on some coins and they weren't there at the time of grading. I say this because I don't think any of the bubbles would be visible at the time of the strike, since they aren't on the die. So they must all show up at some later point, and different storage conditions during the coin's life probably bring them out like pesky flies in a stable.

The 66 has some small areas of very light discoloration. My plan was to try and sell some of the individual groups of 50 coins. But it was like eating popcorn, once I opened one of the sealed groups I couldn't stop. I do have more varieties to share once I carve out some time.

Here's a couple of images of the 66.

Another real beauty! Hope I'll add one of those to my collection in the next couple years. Scratched off some big ones this year and hoping to keep it going. I look forward to seeing what varieties you have left to post!

Beautiful coin. Keep hoping I will find one in the wild but, I'm sure, if I do, it won't look anything like yours.
