To my knowledge, the only MM style for 69 was the MMS-008. I've never heard of a micro S. That said, I'm not a LMC expert.

you are correct it would be a discovery possibly. unless it is infact just a philly. although it has the die marker through liberty and under the scope you can see a faded normal size S MM and 2 micro S MM one is on the rim beside the last 9. it has very similiar doubling to the known version and the die marker. I am no

thats prolly true but the die marker is there in liberty. micro s on the rim close to the last 9. also with magnification you can see a normal S MM but it is faded or polished to much so its not visable. I think this is why they hit it with a micro MM. these things would be rare and very hard to identify if what I believe is true. I'm no expert but I do thank you for looking and commenting.

Any die marker you feel you see is meaningless when it is obviously not from the same die. Even if you are correct about the "micro S", then it would be from a different die. Forget any minor die markers in the case of this coin, just look for the doubling, no way to miss it on this one.

@peasantking die markers only matter if there's doubling. Doubling on this variety should be naked eye visible. None of these are the DDO. No idea what you mean by a "micro S" on the Pilly, but that is not a thing. You also seem to have posted a Denver, which is also obviously not a 1969-S anything, let alone the DDO.

As others have said. Doubling is first and then the markers, not the other way around.

Look at the pictures posted by Ty2020b, if it doesn't look exactly like that, it isn't it.

Best way to not let your dreams get dashed on the rocks, is to ask to see what it is first. Then the let down will be a lot easier. Everyone wants to find the 'Holy Grail' coins, when they think they have (but really they haven't) they call out on that. IE: 1969-S DDO. Less than 50 out there probably. They find a normal coin and think they have found it. And they feel they we are the bad guys, for just telling them it is a normal coin. The people to what out for are the ones that tell them it is a normal coin, but still offer them a small offer. If it is not a valuable coin, why are they interested in it? Watch for the bait on the trap.
