need better pics to know of the lack of detail on the torch is merely due to poor focus

@josh, it looks to me like you have now posted enough pics for us to help. Thx for sticking with us!

Sometimes these design elements are poorly struck but in you case it looks like this dime has been sanded down a bit (I.e. damaged). I suspect that the weight might be at or below the minimum mint spec.

There are no marks or scratches to make it like that, and everything around those spots are like new. Guess I need to take it somewhere to get checked. Thanks to u all and I appreciate patience with me figuring out how put better pics

Weighed it and it's 2.26 grams, supposed be 2.27g so hardly off maybe my scale off that tiny bit

I see scratches on the torch and fields around it. You have a post mint damaged dime, sorry.

The most important thing is to learn the minting process, I can't never stress enough many new comers just skip this learning curve, hoping to find diamond in the rough. Secondly, we need to see clear sharp pictures and indicate what are the error in reference to, describe what members should see first.

So of the die is filled partly with grease and the weight is normal, then it is an issue with the grease preventing the full strike. Also looks like part of the gutter that creates part of the rim was also filled, A bigger glob of grease was affecting the strike on this one.
