Thanks for the links.
Early Cent has a 1799/8 with G details that looks like it's been hit a few times with a hammer and is listed for $8,250.
I spent $1,500 for this 1799/8.

Dude, you did not pay $1500 for this. Good grief! If you are putting together a type set, just buy a nice common date unless a key date comes up at an incredible price. This coin is not worth anywhere near that amount.

I can't even understand the lowball set, but what are you trying to accomplish here? The ugliest and rarest type set ever assembled?

If genuine, it's value is severely diminished based on the heavy graffiti/damage.
IMHO, $1500 is a far fetch of any FMV for this coin. I have owned a couple 1799's including the overdate.
This coin should be returned if you can get your money back.
