Thank you all very much! I know it might seem like a more minor thing and not a big deal, but it's the first major Retained Cud that I've found. There's just something real special with finding stuff like this yourself. Haha CH4 I've rarely had it happen to me, but when it does, it's a great feeling! Thanks MC! It feels great to be back, even only temporarily.

You might be able to find an attribution number for it on the Cud site John1

Very nice! One of the larger ones with great eye appeal. And yes, it's 34R as CH27 notes, and shows even better detail than the plate coin.
And welcome home. Good to have you back.

Thank you everyone! Your comments mean a lot to me!
Lawest, glad you think so! I was just laying in bed while everyone else was asleep so I thought I'd get started right away on CRHing (as I was too tired to do it the night before).
Roger that John!
Thank you so much CH27! I truly appreciate you helping me find the match! Also it's been a bit since I've heard from ya, glad to see you!
Thanks Bats! It's feels great to be back. Hope things are going swell for ya, and you're having a great holiday!
Thank you Rob, jbuck, and merclover as well! The excitement I felt when I saw this was pretty spectacular! I'm glad everyone is here to share my enthusiasm!

I'll agree that it is a Cud because it involves the rim, BUT, But why is it incused in the rim trough? (the region between the wheat stalk and the rim) I thought that Cuds will be higher than the devices on a coin.

Dearborn, I believe that my photography on this one could've been better. It isn't incuse, but somewhat raised. Because it's a Retained Cud, or pre Cud, the entire piece of the die hasn't been removed quite yet. Meaning that some parts of the Cud are more raised than others. By looking at the side of the coin from an angle, there is raised debris between the rim trough, though it isn't as visible as the metal on the wheat stalk itself.

Ah! got it, Thanks Silver. makes great sense - key word here is 'retained' Cud.
