 to the CCF I would say that is damage as opposed to a Struck Through. You can see on the reverse where the marks are showing through and the zinc core showing under the copper layer. Just a damaged cent worth one cent.

Agree. Given the appearance of the reverse, I'm thinking post-strike damage.

Could be the start of a drill bit. There are many who will drill holes in coins and use them as jewelry. I have 2 that I have found, one in the 20's and on in the 40's

It is funny. In one week here this it is the second coin which has fake Rockwell test. seem someone want to test the community. !!!!!!
