I agree on the anomaly being a small delamination issue. Possible artificial toning.

Agree, a lam. Some like them, others (like me) often view them as defects.

Nice LAM! Unfortunately that reverse color is from an improper cleaning. I've seen it too many times before, it's a shame. Nice coin either way!

The album is not your usual Whitman holder.
They are sealed back and front in some sort of acrylic lining.
I had to remove this coin to protect it from the others because of carbon spots
The lamination on the coin next to this one follows a patern as if they were one item.
Good to know it is a small lamination.

Small lam, not worth the big bucks you're expecting.

Nice small LAM but the toning bothers me. What brand of album was it in?

It could be a struck through debris? If so it might be seen on the rim and outer edge on the coin.

@coop, but the rim is hardly damaged. Either way this one is a keeper
@john1, an unusual Whitman, each page is aprox. 1/4" thick and sealed with acrylic sheets front and back.

This it is characteristic for bronze coins of ex-foliation of the roll and blank before rims was perform. The marks of metal separation are there.

Then it's a lamination issue because of being under weight.
