Interesting that you pointed this out, I've never thought of the literal difference of the words
grade and
condition.
People use this term interchangeably; they can be interpreted as the same thing. If you walk around at a coin show throwing both words out in conversations, others will understand what you're talking about.
In my opinion through observations, the word
condition is more general. Terms like Good, Fine, Uncirculated, etc.
Grade is more specific with a numerical grade. G-4, F-12, MS-60, etc.
