@sheldius
I have this one too that you had offered to buy. ANACS completed grading today. They gave it AU58.

Definitely a 2 feather!

Are you finding these unattributed?

@NumismaticsFTW
Yes, both of these were not attributed. I paid about the same for both too. I think someone else spotted the latest one.

Yeah I probably did, LOL. I still need to find a 1915 P. Both are great coins, but the ANAC one is definitely better. Great job.

After ebay fees and your 1099, you're looking at about $15 profit.

ebay fees are $13.98. I don't plan on paying any taxes, I'm on SS. I didn't pay last year and I sold twice as much as this year. Net profit = $33.75. If I can net 20-25%, I'm happy. I buy my shipping supplies with ebay bucks and credit card rewards.

Exactly. Last year you weren't mandated to get a 1099.

This year they changed that.

If you make $600+ in sales you will get a 1099 and will pay taxes.

Unless you lie about it and take the chance of IRS coming after you.

Being on SS has nothing to do with it.

I got a 1099 from ebay last year. The limit on earnings while on SS is is a little over $19K. Please check your info. I don't like being accused of cheating.

I can earn a little over $19K while on SS and pay no tax. I will not go in to how I file my taxes though.

It's a 1099-K you get, it's not the same as a 1099. You don't owe taxes on all of it, maybe even none of it. Depends on profit. If you buy a coin for $900 and sell it on ebay for $700 you owe nothing.
