I like this coins chances for a plain old DDO. I am going to spend the next hour trying to get 1 or 2 good shots with the camera

The date sort of looks similar to the 1960 fs 102 but that's a P mint proof DDO where this coin is a D mint business strike. Deff an oddity to me and I would investigate it further if it were mine

With these pictures this is not 001. Can't see the D north. Plus, the MM doesn't line up.

Just a normal 1960-D large date cent. The hub doubling is huge on the '0' on the date:

Somebody will be humbled when I get my scope. I hope it is not me. Thanks Coop I value your time. Going to bank tomorrow to get a few thousand pennys to look through. I now resign to only post good pics of real varietys and errors here in the forum. I'm a slow learner, but still hopeful that I will find a good one one of these days .

Can be 1 of many varietys, not neccesarily 001, you see, there are actually many different varieties with said date. And some have yet to be explored.

I'd find a better coin shop.

Maybe not. Use what you know to find stuff he has no clue about. Only volunteer information, only when he/she asks. Other wise :
