Quote: It has obviously been recalled because of the error on the COA (which I don't care about because I was going to crack out the coins anyway for my Dansco albums). I can relate. Quote: Holy moly that is a journey. You should include a printout of the final tracking sheet once delivered within the set for posterity.

Update on my delayed package: After being returned to the the Memphis Mail Processing Annex on March 28th, my package was sent back out on March 30th and finally arrived today (April 1st). But the box is covered in "Tamper Evident Tape." Now you might assume that the package was opened in Memphis in order to replace the COA, which had errors on it, then resealed for delivery. But your assumption would be wrong, because I opened the package and looked at the COA. The COA still describes the reverse dollar design as "American Indians in Ballet." Now I wonder why my package had been "tampered" with... Thankfully the coin sets look correct.

Maybe the package got damaged at one of the stops it made and was returned to ensure that it was in good shape before sending back out into the big wild world and eventually to you.

Wow that record of journey looks longer than a CVS receipt!

I do, because my Rx is free there with my insurance, otherwise it is like $4 at other pharmacies. By the way, I always tap "no receipt" and save at least one tree.

Quote: Who shops at CVS? I do as well for prescriptions, if for nothing other than convenience over the other corner drug store based on my travel habits and preference on right turns where possible. And yeah, who needs a receipt these days? If I feel I might return something I email it to myself.

I tried ordering a proof set for my son and it is now backordered. I'm wondering if it'll stay that way until they fix the error.
On the flip side, I bought a proof set directly from the Philadelphia Mint gift shop (a block away from my office). Will I ever be able to get a corrected COA?

Are the 2024 proof sets officially sold out? If so, what was the mintage?

Wow. The proof set mintage hasn't been lower than that since 1954. Sales continue to trend down, and the mint continues to raise the price.

Yup. I doubt they will ever lower them.
