@cyn, first welcome to CCF. Second, I'm glad you got that pic loaded eventually. I agree that your nickel has been heavily damaged. With all the missing material, I suspect that it is now underweight.

we figure out why certain areas I'd his front half has a chiseled look but

I see 'tool marks' all over this obverse. the straight 'lines' are probably from a thin grinder blade or possibly a dremel tool.
