Look at this post here to have some photos of what are those years in Halves and compare with yours coins. Add note the explanations.

1974-D DDO-001 seems like the correct attribution based on the TRU in TRUST. I can see the doubled leg in the R, the extra lower left of the U and also the doubled bits of both T's in photo 4, but better photos (less glare and more directly overhead) might help.

@shathe I see it too a little on the R and the last T in TRUST. I think the issue is just circulation wear has removed a lot of details.

I have this same DDO in a mint set. See if you see the same as this in yours, given a lot of wear.

@ Coin: You has 'it. On the "Shate" I do not see this. Could be the pics glare. On his coin I see the U to have a split but not 100 %. Those coins has a lot of minor doubling from the Hub Doubling and all has the stars Doubling and is easy to see because are nice split.

yeah, I thought the wear might be the most difficult part as the details aren't that obvious or are worn by circulation. I thought the 'r' and the last 't' in trust might be the best indicators...

i'll try to get some better ones tomorrow but my setup is pretty harsh. no cell phone, so I have to take pics with my microscope and focusing it tends to throw it out of focus! lol (oh, btw, and you probably know this, and I'm not trying to be insulting or anything, but you can click on the image to embiggen it...)

If you has an micro, then use the Camera app. With this you can adjust how you want. Do not be worry someone insult you because the pics are glare or such. Photos are hard to take like pro who study 300, 400 or more pages of (for me seem to be) crazy terms.

could be a DDO, pretty hard to tell. I think that the circulation flattening is not helping this one out.

yeah, the damage kind of sucks, I think the best evicence is on the kickout leg on the R though.

Can you show me the stars on Reverse upper the eagle? Maybe to high the light of the Micro. Almost all use same embeded soft. Do not worry will be a little bit yellowy pic.

You absolutely have DDO-001. The angle of the photos makes it tougher to tell, but this is definitely the doubled die. Nice find!
